2 Weeks Old

At 2 weeks, we see that the brown girl is going to have a long coat, and the black boy will have a short coat. They are learning to bark now, and it is a very cute squeek noise so far. They have their eyes open now! We are holding them several times a day :)

One Week Old!
The boy is now 1 pound and the girl is 15 oz. He is growing a tad bit faster then her. We still don't have names for them, but I'm sure we will be keeping the girl. Jenny, the mom, is doing great! She is a very devoted mother, and never leaves the puppies for more than a quick run around the house, and then right back into the nest box. We are holding the puppies every day now, to insure that they will be very social. They should get their eyes open in a few day, so my next post will have much cuter photos!

3-13-2009 Jenny x Duke New PUPPIES!

Jenny had her litter of 2 puppies early this morning. One brown girl and one black boy. The girl weighs 5.9 ounces and the boy is 5.8 ounces. Jenny is doing well with her first litter, and Duke is a proud papa :) Jenny is 3/4 Mini Doxie 1/4 Lhasa Apso, and Duke is an AKC reg. Lhasa Apso.

This is Duke, our AKC Lhasa Apso boy. He is the best doggy daddy I have ever met! He loves to babysit his kids and plays very gently with them. Lhasa's are excellent house dogs, as they are easy to house train and only bark if there is a stranger near. Of all the breeds of dogs that I have owned, the Lhasa is my favorite.

Bailey X Chewy Puppies 2008 *sold*

This is Bailey's litter, born Dec. 28, 2008. 2 girls and a boy. All healthy, though the little one only weighed 1.9 ounces at birth and we worried about her, but she is FINE! All these puppies are now living happily ever after in their new homes. We will post more photos of these puppies and their owners as we get them.

Another Winner!

This is the little girl that loves all the puppies! This photo is one I entered in the county fair, and WON! Just wanted to share this cute picture with you.

Just for FUN! You Might want to TRAIN Dogs!

It's fun to train and show dogs! There are local, state and national competitions for all breeds, including the new "Designer Dogs". Obedience is my FAVORITE! Fun Matches, puppy shows, 4-H fairs and just taking the classes (even if you don't compete) is a BLAST! I hope you will find a fun group of dog fanciers to work with. It is really important to socialize your puppy and training classes are a great place to meet people who love dogs!

Shasta Mail (Another Happy Home)

Hello Debra,
He is doing real good and he is having a lot of fun. He gets to play outside with the other dogs most of the day while Alexis is at school. At least while the weather is still nice. He really loves the kids and I think he likes them more then any adults. My baby gate I have seperating my kitchen from the living room doesn't hold him back. The little sucker jumps right over it. He will do real good in agility classes, lol. Alexis starts 4H in a few weeks. Thank You so much and I will keep you posted.

Gizmo Mail (Another Happy Home)

Hi Debra,

Well I decided to name him Gizmo. He is such a love and such a smart little boy. He's is getting so much love, all the ladies I work with adore him. He has made friends with all his new sisters and brother, the cats, and loves playing with the ferrets. I have attached a few more pictures that I have taken. I can't say thank you enough 
